Strawberry and Lemon Muffin

My growing 2 years old toddler liked to have snacks in between her meal time, normally i gave her Biscuits, Fresh Fruit or Finger Foods.

Trying not to narrow the range of foods to my toddlers, I tried to offer her strawberry I bought from Jusco supermarket the other day (never tried to gave strawberry to her before) and guess what? she refused to taste it...  

I don't have any clues what to do with that strawberry... It is not good to force feeding her so, either I let it dried out in the fridge or gave it to 'Mr Bin'..

So, I google-ing things and I found Karen Cheng blogging about Strawberry and Lemon muffin.. Coincidentally I have leftover lemon as my husband like to drink lemon tea almost everyday...

This is how I baked it step by step:


First step: Separating the mixture of dry and wet ingredient

Then: Put in the strawberry in the mixture before spoon it into the muffin pan


Lastly: Baked it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, and because of 'not so delicious looked' i decided to drizzle icing sugar on the top of the muffins as a finishing...

Zara ate it a lot without knowing inside there was the strawberry she refused to eat it on the first place.. keh keh

Roti Ter-KAPIT

Diri dan suami merasa ke-jemu-an makan nasi berlauk setiap malam, atau beli kat luar pun dah tak tau nak order apa, kejap bihun ladna, kejap mee kung fu, kejap nasi goreng kampung...

So sekali sekala buat la roti.. kalau balik lewat menyiapkan kerja office, sempat lagi nak prepare 2 set hidangan seperti di bawah... sebabnya mudah, cepat.. barang nak basuh pun tak banyak...

Mula-Mula sekali prepare telur hancur.. atau omputih kata omelette..

tuangkan telur yang talah di pukul rata.. tambah bawang merah dipotong dadu dan sedikit lada hitam penambah selera


sapukan mentega pada roti sedikit, letakkan omelette tadi di atas roti.. masukkan dalam pengapit roti  
(erm betul ker namanya tuh... pembakar roti kan.. haih)


sebelum di kapit jangan lupa letak selapis lagi roti.. hurm teliti benor cerita pasal nak kapit roti kan... mcm semua tak tau nak kapit.. =.="

Tadaa!! Dah siap belahkan roti letak dalam pinggan mengikut kreativiti ala-ala hotel, dah nama pun orang malaysia perlukan pedas; maka makan la dengan sos cili di samping ulam salad segar... Makan sampai licin senang basuh pinggan...

Banyak boleh di inovasi kan, kadang-kadang breakfast letak gula sahaja....

 Nampak gula tuh bersinar-sinar.. tapi jangan selalu laks.. tak baik untuk kesihatan.. tapi kira ok lagi dari breakfast nasi lemak tiap-tiap hari..



Bila jemu dengan Encik Telur dan Puan Gula, terkadang mengunakan sardin hancur dimasak dengan perahan limau dan bawang sebagai inti roti untuk di kapit..

Memang sedap dan mudah.... apa-apa pun boleh 'masuk' dengan roti kapit nih.. so kalau boring nak makan nasi malam-malam, bleh la cuba...
